Welcome to Mojo's Bar and Restaurant

Set in the prettiest street in Serre Chevalier, set back just over a bridge on the River Guisane Mojo in Villeneuve has something for everyone. Great food, great cocktails, brilliant position looking up at the Casse de Boeuf piste and a great sun terrace from which to enjoy it all (they even provide shawls at night, which is a nice touch).

Run by expat Brits Mel and Tim, along with staff who are warm and friendly as well as massively experienced.

Mel chooses the menu, which is internationally influenced, and Tim, who undoubtedly makes the best cocktails in the valley, having accumulated some 20 years knowledge behind the bar – he started young.

The menu ranges from hearty favourites such as the roasted lamb shank at  14.50€ and traditional mountain fare of tartiflette, 13.50€ to the Thai inspired warm chicken salad,  12.50€, which is excellent and large enough to satisfy after a day on the pistes.

There are also two set three-course menus at 17.50€ and 22.50€, which are immensely satisfying and allow you to mix and match depending on what you fancy.

The plate of local cheeses at 7€ is well worth exploring, and is supplied by the specialist shop next door.

After that heading to the bar for a drink is a good idea, there’s 2 for 1 cocktails between 11pm and midnight.

It is not a large restaurant so it is definitely advisable to book ahead (call after 4pm)
